On Friday, 1/13/23, I drove out to the coast to capture the sunrise at Little Corona Del Mar. Arriving at 6:00 AM, the beach was both deserted and nearly pitch black. Fortunately, the moon was still out, and I was able to wander around the tide pools in order to search for some compositions.
I was fortunate to arrive on a day where low tide allowed me to wander the rocks, and I was rewarded for my efforts when the sun began to rise. Colors lit up the sky, and I spent the next two hours walking along the beach and making photographs.
I walked away with some great images, and one of which will be my January selection for my yearly calendar for 2023.
